What you will be doing in this role:

The Senior Line Producer (Senior Content Specialist) is responsible for creating a compelling strategy and implementing it for different digital touchpoints. You will be responsible for the hands-on coordination, execution and successful completion and delivery of photo and video productions to our partners. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure that all photo and video productions honor and realize the intended creative direction provided by the Associate Director Photo/Video and the Executive Director of Creative Studio. You will pivot as needed to ensure that the integrity of the idea is honored, and to design and implement comprehensive content plans and campaigns across appropriate platforms so that all productions align with Cedars-Sinai business goals and audience needs. Works closely with internal collaborators to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels. Monitors and evaluates content performance through metrics, making data-driven adjustments to strategies.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal and external partners creative directors, producers, photographers, videographers and all production crew to keep Cedars-Sinai’s multiple social media and digital channels up to date with content that represents the whole of the institution. Ensures consistent messaging and branding across all channels. Ensures consistent creative work that embodies the Cedars-Sinai brand in every aspect.
  • Designs and implements a comprehensive content strategy that is aligned with overall business objectives and target audience needs. Creates production and post-production timelines and coordinates multiple and complex schedules of talent, crew and Cedars-Sinai staff to ensure productions operate smoothly and deliverables are fulfilled on time.
  • Monitors and evaluates content performance using analytics tools, providing insight and recommendations for continuous improvement. Scouts and permits off-site locations as needed. Coordinates regularly with Cedars-Sinai Security, Safety and Clinical staff to ensure on-campus productions go smoothly and do not negatively interfere with clinical operations/quality of patient care. 
  • Makes recommendations for appropriate production tactics approaches that align within the scope of priority projects across Cedars-Sinai. Gathers data, compiles information and prepares reports as needed.
  • Helps maintain Cedars-Sinai’s high expectations for tone, voice and professionalism in all communications, demonstrating sound judgment and common sense under rapid deadlines.
  • Stays current on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities to keep content fresh and impactful.
  • Understands QA testing, responsive design and browser compatibility testing.
  • Monitors and ensures imagery, copy and graphics follow Cedars-Sinai style guidelines.
  • Assists with troubleshooting digital platforms issues with digital team, production and post-production issues as they arise.
  • Reviews and publishes content for Cedars-Sinai digital platforms. Demonstrates a diverse and dynamic skill set that combines creativity, communication, and analytics. Collaborates with photographers and videographers on set for smaller productions, flexibly filling in crew roles as needed including but not limited to: gaffer, assistance camera, camera operator, grip and electric, assistant director, line producer, producer, sound/boom operator.
  • Provides guidance and support to junior team members and freelance contributors, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Implements campaigns for priority service lines. Manages projects on platforms including, but not limited to, collateral production, email and direct mail campaigns, Marketo platform, main website including landing pages, social media and corporate activations and MarComm events.

Works closely with MarComm divisions as well as institutional departments through the health system to provide print production, distribution, digital support, guidance, budgetary oversight and reporting against measurable targets. 


Qualifications

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business, design, marketing, communications, journalism, information technology, or another relevant major is required. 

A minimum of 5 years of web, project and content management experience, or other similar relevant experience required.

Significant expertise in casting, location scouting, permitting, transportation, production equipment, and billing/budgets is required.

Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of information software and hardware to provide solutions and support.
