Careers in IT
Leading the leading edge.
At Cedars-Sinai, we have a simple philosophy: Do the right thing. This frees all of us to pursue a vision of something better, whether for patients, clinicians, the healthcare system or all of those together. That’s one of the reasons we were named one of the “most wired” hospitals in the United States by Hospitals & Health Networks, a journal of the American Hospital Association. We’re one of only seven hospitals in California and 100 nationally to receive this distinction. We were recently named one of the "Best Places to Work in IT 2023" by Computerworld and ranked #2 among large organizations for hybrid work.
“Since we implemented the formal [telework] policy, IT employee engagement scores and comments have continued to positively reflect that employees are happy and productive working from home.” Craig Kwiatkowski, Senior Vice President and CIO at Cedars-Sinai.
Focused on innovation.
As part of our team, you’ll work in an open and collaborative environment, surrounded by people focused on pushing the limits of innovation. We all work on projects critical to the patient care and health goals of Cedars-Sinai. This includes making sure that electronic medical records are up and running and optimized, fitting the workflow patterns of every member of our healthcare team.
Voice-powered tools.
We’re also implementing a pilot program with smart hospital rooms. More than 100 patient rooms allow patients to use an Alexa-powered platform known as Aiva to interact hands-free with nurses, and to control their entertainment. It joins innovations such as the MyChart Bedside app and Cedars-Sinai's iPad project in modernizing patient communications at Cedars-Sinai.
Talent talks here.
No matter your background, if your technology skills are among the best, we have a role for you at Cedars-Sinai. You’ll have resources, support, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
