Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned projects from initiation to delivery, including project definition, assignment of responsibilities, organizing project teams, setting deadlines, and monitoring expenses. This position manages all or most phases of the project and resources, utilizing industry standard project management tools and techniques. Ensures that all phases of the project are completed per project timeline and budget. In collaboration with key stakeholders this role identifies and resolves obstacles to completing projects on time and within budget.
Note: a project has a defined scope, defined start and end, and typically impacts more than one department, function, or group.
The preferred candidate will be able to:
· Utilizes data from internal and external sources to transform data into graphs and charts, and other meaningful visualizations. Analyzes data for trends, variances, and deficits. Supports health system [hospital] monitoring efforts and management dashboards by providing regular data updates. Utilizes knowledge and understanding of qualitative and quantitative statistics to synthesize data and extract key insights into the human factors from qualitative information
· Applies a broad range of performance improvement tools and methodologies (e.g. Lean and Six Sigma), and problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate change. Supports CSMDRH monitoring efforts and management of quality metrics and dashboards

o Tuition Reimbursement: Repays up to $600 per calendar year for fees expended to attend a job-related seminar, licensure renewal (if mandated by job description), workshop, conference, individual course, or other training programs.
o Tuition Loan: Provides up to $2,000 per calendar year for approved formal certificate or degree programs including prerequisites for approved degree programs. A tuition loan and reimbursement may, with appropriate approvals, be combined for a maximum of $2,600.
o Critical Pipeline Loan: Tuition loans up to $5,250 for specific degree programs at approved, accredited schools identified by the organization. This program is for attaining the following degrees:
§ Bachelor’s: BSN, Chemistry, Medical Technology or Science.

Educational Requirements:
·Minimum of an Bachelor’s degree preferred
License/Certifications:
·Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
·Lean Six Sigma preferred
Experience:
·Minimum of 5 years Program or Project Management, Project support and/or leadership experience required
·Experience in an acute, academic or clinical setting strongly preferred
·Project Management - Ability to promote and foster participation/collaboration among individuals and groups
·Project Management - Ability to initiate, plan, design, execute, and monitor project(s)
·Technical - Ability to apply knowledge of information software and/or hardware to provide solutions and/or support Proven ability to abstract data from database software into reports and spreadsheet formats. Good understanding of data flow, structure, and relationships of various pieces of data.
·Budgetary & Financial -Ability to apply knowledge of accounting principles to create, monitor or operate to budget(s)
