What will you be doing in this role:
The Supervisor, Marketing is a key member of the team responsible for consulting with business partners and collaborates with Leadership to develop marketing and communication strategies, and tactics for Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University. Develops marketing campaigns and serves as the Marketing liaison for assigned client groups. Supervises the day-to-day work of team members, external consultants and vendors in the development, planning, and implementation of marketing campaigns while collaborating cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders to meet established goals and objectives.
- Serves as subject matter expert and point of contact on behalf of the brand. Collaborates with Brand Strategy on proper logo use and use of name guidelines for external partners, affiliates and sponsors, etc.
- Supervises staff, consultant and vendor relationship in planning and execution of work scope. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by the team, clients, consultants, vendors and stakeholders.
- Conducts performance reviews on staff and develops performance improvement plans, as required.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop marketing and communications strategies and tactics to achieve organizational goals.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure consistency and success in all assigned areas.
- Researches and analyzes data. Provides information and reports for department and leadership review.
- Composes written materials to support program projects and events.
- Represent HSU at community events, career fairs, and outreach activities to boost recruitment efforts.
- Support outreach initiatives by attending external events and assisting with promotional activities.
Hybrid Remote = must currently live in Los Angeles area or willing to relocate to LA area for onsite requirements
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
Five (5) plus years of marketing experience in a large, sophisticated organization, preferably in an academic medical setting.
Two (2) plus years of managerial experience supervising direct reports within a department and/or service line, preferred.
Preferred experience in research and education marketing, preferably at an academic medical center. (Research, Education: experience in higher education marketing)
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.

Our compensation philosophy
We offer a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base pay range shown generally applies to the greater Los Angeles area and may vary based on work location. Our range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills: relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
