Job Description
The Senior Manager, MN Executive Operations plans and coordinates the daily businesses operations of the division. Responsibilities will include business strategy support, management of the executive support team, collaboration with key collaborators to help prioritize Medical Network programs and leadership projects. The incumbent will be a liaison to the medical group boards and will champion and cultivate employee engagement programs. In this role, the Senior Manager will supervise staff as it relates to the overall management of the department and areas of responsibilities. Performs other functions vital for the efficient and productive operations of the Medical Network in collaboration with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) and other affiliating hospitals and medical centers.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Represents the Division on standing and ad/hoc committees, engaged in problem solving and process improvement projects.
- Responsible for planning, developing and providing oversite to support strategy for the Medical Network by leading inter and intra departmental multi-disciplinary projects as well as across the Division both within CSMC and affiliates working with key collaborators from manager to executive leadership level of management.
- Collaborate with other leaders and partners across the organization in the administration of the department.
- Leads all aspects of a messaging strategy that streamlines processes and design for staff.
- Identifies and defines any logistics, action items or information needed to maintain operations, including collaboration with affiliates, departments within the Medical Center and Medical Network.
- Supervises executive messaging and advises leadership in regard to message processes.
- Coordinates performance improvement initiatives working independently with Directors, Managers, and Staff as well as Physicians and Vendors.
- Plans, develops, coordinates, and organizes resources to meet department objectives.
- In conjunction with leadership, is responsible for planning and managing department fiscal budgets and financials.
- Identifies and advances opportunities to innovate and to streamline communications and processes.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare, Management, Business or related field highly preferred.
Experience:
Eight (8) years of experience in management, supervisory, or in a leadership capacity required. Eight (8) years of experience with financial and budgetary planning/management required. Eight (8) years of healthcare industry knowledge highly preferred.
