We are recruiting a Physician Assistant to join our busy General Surgery Service in the Department of Surgery. In this role you will perform the following functions:
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment assisting our team of Surgeons in clinic and the OR
- Manage your own clinic providing consults, post-op services, treatment planning, and care coordination
- Work closely with surgeons and work autonomously
- Manage not only general surgery patients, but endocrine patients with thyroid and adrenal diseases
- Primary job locations: Cedars Sinai Medical Center & Providence Cedars Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, Potential secondary job location: Cedars Sinai Marina del Ray
Qualifications
Education:
- Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
License/Certification:
- Current, unrestricted California PA license.
- DEA license
- National PA certification
- ACLS, BLS
Experience:
- 1 or more years of experience in General Surgery is preferred
