Job Description

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) is a world-renowned medical center dedicated to advancing neurosurgery care through innovation, expertise, and compassion. Cedars-Sinai Neurology and Neurosurgery is named best in Los Angeles and tied for #9 in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report. 


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated critical care trained neurosurgeon to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care to patients. 

The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical care at our affiliate location, Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. 
As faculty you will participate in clinical and programmatic activities, which support the Medical Center’s mission of quality patient care, research, education and teaching, and community service. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for programmatic activities related to the delivery of patient care.
  • Actively integrates and coordinates neurosurgical services throughout the Medical Center (and affiliates), including but not limited to the Department of Imaging, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacy and Neurophysiology Laboratories.

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $589,000 - $1,249,000 total cash compensation.


Qualifications

· Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
· Board Certification (or eligibility) in Neurological Surgery
· Fellowship training in Spine preferred
· Unrestricted California license as Physician
· CSMC Medical Staff Membership; Torrance Memorial Medical Center and affiliates as designated
· Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
