In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit
- Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
- Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
- Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
- Answers phones and call lights
- Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
- Assists patient transporter as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Shifts: Day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 19:30 p.m.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)
Certifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
- Current BLS certification, required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer knowledge

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other recognition programs for our employees. The base pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
