Position Summary:

The CSMH Manager, Facilities is responsible for planning, maintaining and managing complex CSMH outpatient clinical sites from a facilities, equipment, and systems perspective. This position works closely with senior leadership and physician management to survey, maintain and repair facilities and systems directly and/or by managing 3rd party specialists and service providers. This position is responsible for the development of facility and equipment maintenance projects from investigation to design and implementation including planning and overseeing scope of work, budget, schedule, and logistics. In addition to managing 3rd party specialists/service providers, this position will directly supervise the work of in-house resources and will provide project management for diverse health system teams to include FPDC, EIS and CSMH resources.

Hours: this is an Exempt position. Position time is 6:30AM-3:00PM; however, hours are variable depending on on-site need. Some holidays may be necessary.


Educational Requirements:

·High School Diploma/GED required

·Bachelor’s degree or Vocational Diploma in Engineering discipline or related field preferred

Experience:

·Minimum of 2 years Leadership experience, planning/overseeing work of others required

·Minimum of 5 years increasing responsibility planning and coordinating Facilities Maintenance procedures; including strong knowledge of air conditioning equipment required

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

·Strong problem solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills

·Interact effectively and harmoniously with other people including leadership, vendors, contractors, and operational team members, impacting decisions and influencing results

·Broad knowledge of Facilities Maintenance techniques, procedures, and knowledge of maintenance materials. Must have working knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Central Plant Operations, Carpentry, Small Appliance Repair, Minor Construction, Painting, Mechanical Equipment Operations in a Medical Facility

·Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

·Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written

·Must be able to meet the Physical Demands written in the Job Description

Licenses and Certifications:

·Any EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) preferred
