Job Description

What will I be doing in this role?

The Senior Talent Advisor will be a consultative strategic partner and acknowledged expert in recruitment. The Senior Talent Advisor is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of various positions throughout the organization. They will be responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and referring qualified candidates to respective hiring departments. Targeting the best qualified candidates, they will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract and retain a diversified staff as well as provide support to new hires. The Senior Talent Advisor conducts interviews and makes suitable recommendations regarding the hiring of employees. They will also assist the Faculty and Provider Recruitment Department and team with special projects as it relates to HR functions, as well as other projects as assigned.

** This is a full-time, remote position with benefits, expected to last for 6-months from the hire date, with potential for extension based on operational needs. **

  • Facilitate and implement the full-cycle recruitment process for academic/provider recruitment for Cedars-Sinai.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies and recruitment solutions to attract active and passive candidates, considering budget constraints.
  • Maintain significant client and candidate contact during each search, providing timely updates. Collaborate with hiring leaders to share qualified candidate materials and plan visits.
  • Prepare and present offers to candidates, negotiating as appropriate. Remain involved through relocation and transition to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Partner with departments to understand their structure, faculty roster, achievements, operations, and locations to effectively communicate with candidates.
  • Support a concierge approach to recruiting and onboarding high-caliber faculty and providers.
  • Facilitate resolution of questions or issues related to policies, procedures, programs, or benefits, partnering with the Director or Associate Director as needed.
  • Perform comprehensive salary analyses to provide recommended salaries based on experience, market data, and internal equity, and negotiate employment offers.
  • Provide support and education to hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process. Develop training tools and process outlines for hiring managers.
  • Collaborate and lead HR projects, including organizing hiring events/job fairs, attending meetings, reporting on recruitment initiatives, and assisting during regulatory surveys.
  • Implement recruitment practices aligned with active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) for union transfers and hires.
  • Establish partnerships with affiliated schools, associations, and boards. Lead and attend networking events such as job/career fairs to build talent pipelines.
  • Prepare special reports, charts, and spreadsheets as requested, using quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, improve results, and influence hiring decisions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fields is preferred. 
  • Three (3) years of experience working in a Talent Advisor or Recruiter role.
