Senior Manager / Chief of Staff - Executive Operations

Job Description

Senior Manager, MN Executive Operations serves as the Chief of Staff, Cedars-Sinai Medical Network is responsible for working as the right-hand to the Executive Vice President, collaborating directly with Leadership on critical business initiatives and achieving organizational goals.  This highly visible position involves leading key strategic projects, overseeing processes to monitor the overall health of the business, preparing for key meetings, and acting to proactively remove barriers, among other priorities. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Ability to independently set priorities, plan, organize, coordinate and direct multiple, concurrent projects, and complex tasks, coupled with the ability to develop and move strategic agendas forward and drive a high volume of work to completion.
  • Act as an extension of the EVP, internally with the leadership team and with other organizational stakeholder groups.
  • Oversee and drive strategic cross-functional initiatives to drive high priority outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to the Medical Network leadership team.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between different departments, acting as a liaison between executive leadership and various teams to streamline processes and align efforts.
  • Establish and maintain strategic and operational dashboards and reporting routines that allow for the organization to track performance, set priorities, and cascade goals.  
  • Prepare executive level reports and presentations.
  • Serve as the primary conduit for information flow to and from the EVP, synthesizing data to inform key decisions.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare, Management, Business or related field highly preferred.

Experience:

Eight (8) years of experience in management, supervisory, or in a leadership capacity required. Eight (8) years of experience with financial and budgetary planning/management required. Eight (8) years of healthcare industry knowledge highly preferred.
