This role is 10 hours, Tuesday - Friday.

The staff of the Cedars-Sinai Neurological Multidisciplinary Clinic work closely with the medical center’s medical staff to provide excellent and innovative care to patients requiring care due to post-operative and chronic conditions. This clinic is a fast-paced environment requires the ability to work independently.

As a full time Occupational Therapist in the Cedars-Sinai Neurological Clinic in Los Angeles, California, you will primarily complete evaluations and provide appropriate treatment interventions per policies. Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly within expected timeframes. Utilizes validated and standardized outcome measures to establish goals, demonstrate progress and patient rehabilitation prognosis. Monitors and modifies the progress of patients assigned to assistants. Demonstrates effective communication skills with patients, families, and care team members.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program- bachelors minimum required
  • Master's Degree- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program - Preferred
  • Doctorate Degree Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program - Preferred

License/Certification:

  • California Occupational Therapy License- Upon Hire
  • Basic Life Support- Upon Hire

What else are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 1-year one year experience as a practicing therapist.
  • Population: stroke and other neuro, vision, lifestyle/wellness management program
  • Experience performing evaluations, designing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education in a manner appropriate to the patient's age.
  • Experience with assessment and intervention techniques in a medical, physical disabilities setting.
