What you will be doing in this role:
The Content Specialist (Per Diem) assists in the execution of digital campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to, the main website, social media, paid search, and landing pages. Works closely with various departments to provide strategic guidance and support in digital initiatives. Responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content across various platforms to drive engagement and support Cedars-Sinai brand objectives. Responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of industry best practices in web design, user experience, information architecture, accessibility and search engine optimization to ensure effective and impactful campaigns. Understands the business requirements and audience needs, applying them to various digital experiences while adhering to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center style guidelines.
- Contributes to the development of Cedars-Sinai’s print, digital and brand presence. Assists in the planning and execution of campaigns.
- Develop high-quality, engaging content for the website, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
- Evaluates and responds to requests from internal customers as needed. Places and tracks all tickets regarding requests that are approved.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product development, to build, maintain, optimize collateral and ensure cohesive messaging and effective content distribution.
- Make scheduled and one-off updates to cedars-sinai.org.
- Tracks budget within project management platform to ensure all costs are accurately tracked and accounted for.
- Communicates the status of projects to colleagues and collaborators and report on measurable key indicators for implemented campaigns.
Qualifications
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, information technology, web design or another related major preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of project and content management experience or relevant experience required.
