What Will You Be Doing In This Role?
Responsible for planning, implementing and administering the day-to-day operations of a recognized organizational and/or departmental program. Contributes to the strategic planning, design, development and implementation of program objectives, procedures, processes and standards. May supervise staff as it relates to the overall management of the program. Responsible for CS Safe data related to the following risk files (non-medication events and medication events), mortality reviews, safety stars, Root Cause Analysis and peer review, and data (patient safety & peer review).
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• | Proposes, develops, coordinates, and organizes resources to meet program objectives and maintenance. |
• | Develops and implements any applicable education, training, on-boarding and/or mentor ship pertaining to the program. |
• | Researches, gathers, and summarizes data for evaluating performance of program or other program operations. |
• | Identifies growth opportunities and further efficiencies that impact the program and/or departments success and establish strategic plans to achieve objectives. |
• | Develops and implements procedures for data acquisition, management and quality control by analyzing data from multiple sources to evaluate trends, formulates recommendations and presents to senior leadership. |
• | Ensures program compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as with local, state and federal laws; accreditation, professional and regulatory agency standards and licensure requirements. |
• | Responsible for planning and managing the program's fiscal budgets and financials. |
• | Identifies program participants and stakeholders and leads cross-functional teams in the administration, maintenance or expansion of the program. |
• | Interfaces with internal/external stakeholders to maintain and further develop program growth, community outreach activities, as well as relationship building and maintenance. |
• | Drafts the program's communication documents including policies and procedures. |
