Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities 

The Director of Affiliates provides leadership of I.T. services and strategy to affiliates and acquisitions of Cedars-Sinai Health System. Functions as the primary leadership liaison between EIS and the site Leadership teams.  Oversight includes Huntington Health, Marina Del Rey Hospital, and the Medical Network. The Director is integral to the Cedars-Sinai Health System expansion and growth strategy and will help develop, guide, and manage the effective execution of all Information Systems components supporting health system expansion initiatives. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes an IT strategy that takes advantage of enterprise technologies to contribute to site-specific goals and strategies.
  • Provides I.T. leadership support over the affiliate locations of Cedars-Sinai Health System, including daily operations, strategic planning, project delivery, and partners with IT support and service management leadership and staff.
  •  Participate in capital and operating budget preparation and demand management related to all IT requests at the site and oversees the successful completion of all IT capital approved and funded projects.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with C-level executives, clinical and operational leaders, and members of their teams to understand current and future needs, being present onsite.
  • Collaborates with system-level IT leadership to develop and support service delivery, locally and for the system in a reliable and sustainable, fostering a service-oriented culture. 
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify service improvement and innovation opportunities and oversee the creation of IT roadmaps.
  • Leads project creation, development, planning, and implementation teams across a matrixed service organization to deliver both applications and infrastructure improvements to affiliate locations.
  • Supports IT in the maintenance of the infrastructure, network, key critical clinical and non-clinical applications, desktop support, and proper disaster recovery procedures.


Qualifications

Education 

Minimum Requirement - Bachelor's Degree- Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Preferred Requirement - Master's Degree - Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Work Experience

Minimum Requirement - 8 years - A minimum of 8 years experience in the delivery of information technology services, with a focus on Strategy, Service Delivery, Relationship Management, and Matrix team leadership. 

Minimum Requirement - 6 years - A minimum of 6 years in information technology, with a focus on Sr. leadership positions of both Technical teams and Healthcare Administration.

Minimum Requirement - 4 years -A minimum of 4 years of Healthcare Administration experience.
