What will you be doing in this role?

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for overseeing complex, high-impact projects from initiation to delivery, including project definition, assignment of responsibilities, organizing project teams, setting deadlines, and monitoring expenses. This position manages all or most phases of the project and resources, utilizing industry standard project management tools and techniques to ensure project completion. Ensures that all phases of the project are completed per project timeline and budget. In collaboration with key stakeholders this role identifies and resolves obstacles to completing projects on time and within budget. The Lead Project Manager also leads and mentors project staff, including but not limited to Project Managers, Project Administrators, Administrative Residents, and Project Coordinators.

Note: a project has a defined scope, defined start and end, and typically impacts more than one department, function, or group.

Qualifications

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED, (Minimum)
  • Bachelor's Degree, Health care, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 8 years Program or Project Management, Project support and/or leadership experience (Minimum)
  • 3 years direct project management experience preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare or academic medical center environment preferred.
  • Experience with data analytics and mining preferred.
  • Advanced Tableau and REDCap proficiency preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI toolsets preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Upon Hire (Preferred)

Our compensation philosophy

We offer a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base pay range shown generally applies to the greater Los Angeles area and may vary based on work location. Our range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills: relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
