What will you be doing in this role:

The Digital Content Strategist assists in the execution of digital campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to, the main website, social media, paid search, and landing pages. Works closely with various groups to provide strategic guidance and support in digital initiatives. Responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content across various platforms to drive engagement and support Cedars-Sinai brand objectives. Responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of industry standard processes in web design, user experience, information architecture, accessibility and search engine optimization to ensure effective and impactful campaigns. Understands the business requirements and audience needs, applying them to various digital experiences while adhering to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center style guidelines.

  • Create end-to-end content experiences that align with user needs and business goals across web and mobile platforms; distill value props and desired actions into short, actionable copy.
  • Write clear, concise microcopy for buttons, labels, form fields, tooltips, navigation elements, and system notifications.
  • Maintain digital content and brand standards and partner with brand strategy and editorial teams to align style guides.
  • Edit and refine existing interface copy for clarity, consistency, usability, SEO, and conversion optimization.
  • Conduct content audits to identify improvement opportunities and ensure cohesive experiences.
  • Partner with product managers and UX researchers to understand user behavior and difficulties, translating insights into content solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and business partners throughout the product development lifecycle; bring a copy perspective to page layout and visual design.
  • Test and iterate on content through A/B testing, user feedback, and usability research.
  • Advocate for inclusive, accessible language that serves diverse user populations.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

Four (4) plus years of experience creating user-focused digital content in UX writing, content design, or similar role combining strategic and execution work.

A/B testing platforms and analytics tools.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX design, preferred.
