 As a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class healthcare to our Pediatric Surgical Outreach Program. Your expertise and compassionate care will be instrumental in crafting the lives of children and their families.  What you will be doing:

  • Provide outstanding, comprehensive care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and complete care.
  • Coordinate and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Participate in groundbreaking research to advance pediatric healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with established protocols.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with medical advancements.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master of Nursing Degree.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered.

Experience:

  • One (1) plus years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in  a pediatric setting.
  • NP experience in NICU, Pediatrics, and/or Pediatric ER setting preferred
  • NP pediatric surgery experience preferred

Licensure/Certifications Requirements:

  • Current CA RN License.
  • Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License.
  • NP National Certification.
  • Current DEA License (2-5).
  • Current (Life Support Certification) required.
