The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to include calibration and operation of ultrasound equipment and coordination of patient care activities with other healthcare professionals.
Principal Responsibilities:- Schedules and performs ultrasound procedures by performing proper diagnostic scan recognition; maintains quality assurance/improvement standards of procedures.
- Correlates ultrasound procedures with patient medical history.
- Maintains patient records and completes patient discharges.
- Cleans and maintains equipment; ensures stock of supplies by placing orders.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Vocational/Technical Diploma, graduate of an accredited ultrasound program required
Work Experience:
- 2 years Diagnostic ultrasound sonographer required
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technology Sonography Certification – ARRT (S) Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Basic Life Support Certification needs to be the AHA Healthcare Provider type only Upon Hire Required

Our compensation philosophy
We offer a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base pay range shown generally applies to the greater Los Angeles area and may vary based on work location. Our range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills: relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
