What will you be doing:
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides routine guidance/input to clients and assigned HR functions. Facilitates and supports the initiatives and deliverables provided by their assigned HR area. Provide support to area through analytical research, coordination of unit processes, interpretation and application of unit specific policies, practices and guidelines, and management of office duties to ensure the smooth delivery of HR services to clients. HR Coordinator is encouraged to continually develop knowledge as a client resource and gain subject matter expertise in assigned targeted Human Resources subject areas related to work activities and projects assigned.
- Provide in-person assistance to current and newly hired employees, leadership, and others at the Employee Service Center Storefront locations (mainly Marina Del Rey Hospital).
- Support employees with payroll related questions.
- Ensure resolution of day-to-day issues with limited supervision, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving using critical thinking.
- Process transactions for newly hired employees, such as badge creation, I-9 process initiation/updates, and collection of onboarding documents.
- Collaborate with other offices to facilitate logistics and engage with the immigration team as needed.
- Assist with the return-to-work process, if applicable.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
One (1) plus years of experience in human resources.
Solid grasp of Oracle HCM and UKG preferred.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (preferred)
