Cedar-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital is seeking a Facilities Coordinator!
The Facilities Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment. The Facilities Coordinator will also manage preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor the requisition process, review accuracy processes and verification, for proper approval. Coordinates efforts to place orders with distributors utilizing the phone or automatic order entry.
Manages vendor relationship.
Manages and facilitates the resolution of invoice discrepancies, invoice to purchase order matching.
Assists the Director with market trend studies and cost analysis. Assists the Director with solicitation of bids, review of pertinent data and negotiations.
Communicates with all departments in relation to requisitions and work orders that are in progress.
Assists in the maintenance and implementation of enhancements of BMS and associated facility software (TMS).
Reviews all month/year-end data to ensure accuracy, and confirms entries are in the compliance binders.
Maintains an accurate filing system for purchase orders and requisitions. Assists in product vendor files as needed. Interfaces directly with sales representatives to ensure price competition and accuracy are achieved.
Combines all orders by vendors to ensure that orders are placed in the most efficient manner.
Makes corrections, deletions, and adjustments to suggested orders submitted by Facilities.
Handles confidential information.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma/GED Required Minimum
Bachelor's degree in project management/related healthcare preferred
Work Experience:
A minimum of 1 year working experience as a coordinator
1 Year of experience in project management preferred

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other recognition programs for our employees. The base pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
