Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment. 

Make a Difference in Imaging!

As a part-time Breast Ultrasound Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will assist in performing breast ultrasound exams and procedures primarily at the Breast Center. The incumbent is an intermediate level professional that performs a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex and may assist physicians in performing procedures as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area.


Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

License/Certifications:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification - Abdomen or OB/GYN - issued by ARDMS required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification - Breast - issued by ARDMS required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Experience: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of Sonography experience in a clinical setting required
  • Applicants with less than 3 years of experience may be considered as an Ultrasound Tech I
