What will you be doing in this role?
As a Supervisor of Food Services (Commissary), you will plan and lead all aspects of the activities and personnel of the food service operations. Your primary responsibilities include supervising food production and service; ensuring that food served is nutritious and appealing, supervises staff, review and update policies and procedures, implement and maintain quality and cost control procedures; and maintain professional proficiency and skills required for professional practice.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- Associate/College Degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field - Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree - Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field - Preferred
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)- Preferred
- Mashgiach Certification - Preferred
Experience:
- Three (3) years of Food and Nutrition Service Experience required (Healthcare food service experience is highly desirable)
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience in Nutrition and Food Service Experience (Healthcare food service experience is highly desirable)
- Knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Knowledge and experience with therapeutic diet preparation.
- Strong leadership, management and mentoring skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable health and safety standards.
- Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels.
