Job Description

The Senior Consultant is responsible for developing, organizing and facilitating large cross-functional projects to support Cedars-Sinai's strategic direction. The Senior Consultant will independently plan and effectively manage all aspects of projects or sub-projects of the larger program, including but not limited to; leading, project planning, tracking, reporting and managing any necessary vendor relationships as appropriate while maintaining program endeavors that support the strategic goals of the program and the broader organization. The Senior Consultant will support leadership in day-to-day program operations and administrative activities. The Senior Consultant will serve and protect the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state and local requirements and accrediting bodies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports the development of high-impact strategies to advance Cedars-Sinai digital strategy, making significant contributions to initiatives, products, and workstreams from discovery to execution to growth; includes developing deliverables, project work plans, managing milestones and due dates, effectively communicating project status with internal and external stakeholders (including executive leadership), and anticipating and addressing project risks.
  • Provides digital health consulting, product, and growth strategy support to multiple initiatives, new ventures, and digital products and channels in collaboration with Consumer Digital Innovation, Marketing and Communications, Enterprise Information System (EIS), clinical, and technology transfer leadership and stakeholders.
  • Supports digital health product lifecycle, informing minimum viable product (MVP) definition, discovery, incubation, launch, and growth, in collaboration with operational, clinical, design, and technical development teams.
  • Supports the management and analysis of internal and external innovation process to identify, prioritize, and commercialize innovative ideas and initiatives that drive business growth and improve consumer-centric experience and care delivery.
  • Assists in the development of business model, value proposition, market assessments, and go-to-market strategy for new digital ventures, strategic and commercial relationships, and digital products and channels in collaboration with the Consumer Digital Innovation team, and cross-functional clinical partners.
  • In collaboration with Strategic Planning and Business Development, develops detailed financial analyses, including income statements, cash flow analysis and balance sheets for new and/or existing digital initiatives, services, and technologies.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Leadership/Management, Business or related field. Master's Degree is preferred.
