With experienced surgical and medical proficiency in lung, heart, liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation, the Cedars-Sinai Comprehensive Transplant Center is one of the most successful facilities of its kind. Here, patients find a conscientious environment and hope for a longer, healthier life.
As a Clinical Nurse III, you will perform a variety of tasks specific to the needs of the patient population in the CTC Clinic, including the following:
- Perform patient assessment
- complete intake
- reconcile medications
- conduct physical assessment tests
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
In the CTC Infusion;
- give IV medications,
- monitoring physiologic changes and tracking vital signs.
- Performing procedures such as ultrasound(upon completion of training)
- peripheral IV placement
- phlebotomy, and medication administration via peripheral infusion device as ordered by licensed physician or licensed practitioner
- Assess patients for adverse reaction and complications and document in CS Link.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- BSN preferred
- License/Certification:
- Current, unrestricted California RN license required
- BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- ACLS preferred, will be required after hire.
- Specialty Certification or willing to obtain one within one year of start date
Experience:
- 2 years Med/Surg experience required.
- A minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience required
- Proficiency in infusion therapy required
- Ambulatory clinic nursing experience preferred
