Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Medical Geneticist to join the Center for Genomic Medicine, providing carefor both adult and pediatric patients, and contributing to genetics and genomics research and education. What You’ll Do

As a Medical Geneticist, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding clinical care in general adult and pediatric genetics and specialty clinics.
  • Partner with a team of geneticists, genetic counselors, and clinical staff to ensure streamlined, patient-centered care.
  • Work jointly within multidisciplinary adult and pediatric genetics programs across Cedars-Sinai, integrating services across specialties and the lifespan.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and participate in on-call coverage. 
  • Collaborate within the Division of Medical Genetics and Center for Genomic Medicine to implement best practices in clinical operations, quality, and innovation.
  • Support research, education, and continuous and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Join forces with the next generation of geneticists through teaching opportunities with residents, fellows, and students.

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees.  The pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.  This pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $248,349 – $331,510 total cash compensation


Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a collaborative clinical expert with:

  • A Medical Degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certification in Clinical/Medical Genetics (ABMGG or equivalent)
  • Active California medical license (or eligibility)
  • A minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in medical genetics, preferably in an academic medical center
  • A strong record of excellence in clinical care, education, and research
  • Eligibility for faculty appointment at Cedars-Sinai
  • Experience or interest in quality/continuous improvement
