What will you be doing:
The Lead Programmer Analyst, Digital Tracking & Personalization plays a pivotal role in advancing Cedars-Sinai’s digital analytics, personalization, and data compliance capabilities. You will lead technical implementation and strategy for our modern event-driven tracking ecosystem—spanning Adobe Launch, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Kameleoon—while ensuring alignment with HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA compliance standards.
- You’ll partner closely with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to define, implement, and optimize user event tracking, A/B testing, personalization, and consent management across multiple web properties and applications.
- Lead and manage projects that enhance Cedars-Sinai’s event tracking, personalization, and data collection architecture.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical data tracking and personalization solutions.
- Architect, implement, and maintain advanced tracking solutions using Adobe Launch and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) leveraging XDM schemas and real-time data flows into Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
- Drive implementation and optimization of Kameleoon for A/B testing and personalization across web and mobile platforms, ensuring performance and HIPAA compliance.
- Partner with the marketing organization to integrate and operationalize the upcoming Customer Data Platform (CDP) initiative, aligning data flows and personalization capabilities across all digital channels.
- Expand compliance and privacy readiness by integrating Sourcepoint CMP for GDPR and CCPA consent management across all applicable properties.
- Oversee implementation across two CMS platforms—Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) (React-based SPA) and Webflow—to ensure consistent tracking coverage and data quality.
- Maintain and evolve a rich, event-driven dataLayer architecture designed to collect asynchronous, structured event data from all digital applications.
- Collaborate with development and analytics teams to validate, QA, and troubleshoot event tracking data and tagging behavior.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for web event tracking, data architecture, and tag management best practices.
- Partner with the Digital Analytics team to design more meaningful dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and answer key business questions.
- Mentor and collaborate with the existing Senior Programmer Analyst to foster a cohesive, high-performing tracking and testing team.
- Establish best practices for version control, documentation, and testing processes to ensure reliability and scalability of tagging solutions.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities effectively to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
Eight (8) plus years of technical experience in web analytics implementation, tag management, and front-end development.
Two (2) plus years of experience leading small technical teams or projects with proven ability to manage timelines, priorities, and stakeholder communication.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Launch, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
Hands-on experience implementing A/B tests and personalization using Kameleoon, Adobe Target, or Optimizely.
Advanced JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous data handling experience (ES6+).
Experience developing and maintaining dataLayers for modern single-page applications (SPAs) using React.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and integration points for tracking.
Experience managing tracking implementations for low-code / no-code platforms such as Webflow.
Strong understanding of privacy and data compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA) and implementation of consent management tools such as Sourcepoint CMP.
Proven experience collaborating with marketing and data teams to align tracking and analytics with business strategy.
Experience with modern Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Adobe Real-Time CDP or Treasure Data.
Experience designing and maintaining pipelines that streamline data between digital and offline environments, including exporting datasets for advertising platform activation and ingesting offline data from third-party sources for unified customer profiles.
Familiarity with APIs, server-side tagging, or streaming data ingestion pipelines a plus.
Excellent project management skills: able to define scope, plan work, lead sprints, and deliver results on time.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to build trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prior experience in healthcare, HIPAA-compliant, or regulated enterprise environments preferred.
Educational / Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Adobe certification preferred. (Adobe Launch, Adobe Experience Platform, or Customer Journey Analytics).
Certifications in Kameleoon, Optimizely, or other A/B testing platforms highly desirable.
Familiarity with Treasure Data, Adobe Real-Time CDP, or similar platforms is a plus.
Project management certification (Agile, Scrum Master, or PMP) is a plus.
