What will you be doing:

The Global Financial Operations Administrator is responsible for global financial operations as it relates to projects, global offices and consultants for Cedars-Sinai International. This role focuses on actively contributing to the development and refinement of financial processes, systems, and tools to improve operational efficiency. This role is responsible for managing and reporting finances for Global Services (GS) including creating budgets, updating financial dashboards, developing regional reports, managing invoices and payments, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting. The position also involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless integration of financial data across CSI and supporting key initiatives, such as KPI monitoring, to track progress against organization and department goals. This role ensures consistency, transparency, and accuracy in all financial activities. 

  • Develops the annual Global Services budget, including project and regional profit and loss statements. Develops and coordinates dashboards and monthly variance reports for budget to actual by department, region or country.
  • Updates and reconciles the monthly P&L Cedars-Sinai International dashboard to ensure accurate revenue, expenses, and project margins. Maintains and presents dynamic financial dashboards that deliver comprehensive transparency into performance metrics, revenue streams, and expenditures.
  • Collaborates with regional business units to create specific financial reports and controls.
  • Leads all aspects of the end-to-end process of invoices, payments, and reimbursements, ensuring timely and accurate execution while encouraging positive relationships with vendors, regional offices and a cross-functional team.
  • Coordinates the creation and management of Global Services purchase orders.
  • Manages invoice payments independently of Accounts Payable, ensuring visibility of payments and issuing of downstream payments. Coordinates with Treasury to request and view wire transfers. Utilizes identified invoicing platform for standardized invoice issuing and revenue reporting.
  • Collaborates with the Finance/Tax department to track and report revenue and expenses incurred out of country, including year-end reporting.
  • Facilitates check requests for non-Cedars-Sinai faculty physicians and external vendors, ensuring a streamlined process.
  • Ensures consistent charge back of reimbursable expenses to Global Services partners in collaboration with project managers.
  • Collaboratively supports KPI monitoring and reporting with cross-functional teams.
  • Other duties as assigned related to financial or operational support for Global Services.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

Five (5) plus years of experience in accounting, finance, operations, or related field.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
