What will you be doing in this role?
In this role you will support Registration and Operations, Financial Clearance, and Authorization workflows providing operational, reporting, and system workflow support to help identify trends, troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure alignment between operational needs and Epic functionality.
The Analyst serves as a liaison for Registration & Operations between department leadership, EIS, Finance, service lines, clinical and operational departments, external partners, and staff. This position requires a strong understanding of Epic functionality, registration workflows, authorization processes, operational reporting needs, and the interdependencies between front-end revenue cycle operations and the broader organization. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Supports the development, maintenance, and distribution of operational reports, WQs, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses related to Registration, Financial Clearance, Authorization, and related workflows.
- Reviews operational data to identify trends, workflow gaps, system issues, productivity opportunities, and areas requiring leadership attention.
- Troubleshoots operational workflow issues and Epic system functionality concerns; partners with EIS and operational leaders to support resolution, testing, validation, and implementation of system enhancements.
- Serves as a key liaison between Registration and Operations leadership, EIS, Finance, service lines, clinical departments, external vendors, and other organizational collaborators.
- Supports process improvement initiatives by gathering requirements, documenting current-state workflows, validating future-state workflows, and assisting with implementation planning and system downtime.
- Assists with report creation, data validation, issue tracking, KPI reporting and follow-up to ensure operational leaders have accurate and actionable information.
- Provides support for registration, authorization, eligibility, financial clearance, and related front-end revenue cycle workflows.
- Partners with leadership to evaluate operational performance, identify root causes, and recommend workflow or system improvements.
- Assists with financial reporting, budget UOS tracking, and other financial review activities, as needed.
- Applies applicable federal and state regulatory requirements, organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards to assigned work.
- Provides additional operational and administrative support to department leadership, as needed.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or another relevant field required.
Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis, administrative, financial auditing, accounting or related experience highly preferred.
Epic experience highly preferred.

Our compensation philosophy
We offer a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base pay range shown generally applies to the greater Los Angeles area and may vary based on work location. Our range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills: relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
