What will you be doing in this role?
The Senior Operations Analyst works with leaders to develop strategies and solutions. They analyze, evaluate, and interpret business data using high-level measurements and reporting. This helps improve programs and processes efficiently. Provides analytic support services, recommendations, and oversight of initiatives related to process improvements and projects requiring data analytics and evaluations.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and generate analytics to ensure data integrity efforts & governance which include master data management & cleanse, PO audits, inventory item attributes, etc. Responsible for developing the analytical data needed for reports. Identify data sets required for master data management and create solutions and processes for obtaining data. Research and implement new data sources for analysis. Partner with EIS in the identification and configuration of new data feeds for reports.
- Lead report testing, benchmarking, optimizing analytic tools, data sources, database queries, and procedures. Develop appropriate modeling techniques for data analysis.
- Work with stakeholders to advance data enrichment & management efforts. Create project plans, deliverables, and identify milestones.
- Identify areas for process improvement related to increasing optimization and performance. Document current business process flow(s), complete root cause analysis. of business problem(s), identify and recommend solution alternatives, design, and carry project from start to finish while working with key stakeholders to develop solution and drive change. Develop reports to track key metrics and results. Work collaboratively with EIS to publish dashboards on Tableau, where applicable.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process (CapEx and OpEx). Design & launch tools to measure financial success against set targets (savings trackers etc.).
- Partner with key business partners and departments to understand business needs, gather and document business analytics and reporting requirements to develop metrics.
- Provide routine status updates for projects in flight to leadership and cross functional team(s) by compiling focused slides which include progress in plan against set baseline. Highlight any project risks.
Qualifications
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Computer Science or related field of study (Minimum)
- Master's Degree, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Business Administration, or Computer Science or related field of study (Preferred)
- 3 years Operational and/or quantitative analysis (Minimum)
- Experience with financial operations/analysis (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Tableau and/or SQL (Preferred)

Our compensation philosophy
We offer a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base pay range shown generally applies to the greater Los Angeles area and may vary based on work location. Our range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills: relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
