What will you be doing in this role:
The Manager, Data Analytics and Delivery will supervise a group of data analysts and report developers, leading them in the analysis, requirements, design, development, testing, improvement, documentation, and ongoing support of reporting requests. These requests support the day-to-day/ongoing business and patient care processes within the health system. The Manager leads all aspects of a team of Tableau developers responsible for crafting Tableau dashboards and establishing reporting standards. The Manager in conjunction with the other BI teams is also responsible for the evaluation, selection, and integration of new technologies and report development tools, with a focus on customer self-service, and leads all aspects of the operations for report development from the EMR application.
- Supervises and participates in the design, implementation, testing, improvement, and documentation of reports.
- Responsible for management of EIS capital and operating budgets as assigned.
- Provides strategic knowledge and management expertise to the Data & Analytics Delivery leadership group and overall EDI on report development capabilities in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R or SAS, etc.
- Scans, evaluates, selects, and integrates new technology solutions.
- Facilitates and maintains the efficient intake and governance of report requests.
- Facilitates, advises, and provides support to the customer/s in regards to their data requests, acts as point of escalation.
- Implements performance measurement system to track customer base, request complexity, resource utilization, and efficiency for both individual and team.
- Participates in multidisciplinary teams for requirements definition, vendor selection, and information systems implementation, testing, and support.
- Implements the CSHS technology architecture guidelines for technology infrastructure and application development.
- Participates in EIS informatics teaching, research, and publishing efforts.
- Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, managing schedules, personnel actions, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
- Supervises the day-to-day work of employees, assigns work, ensures tasks are completed and expectations are met.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
Five (5) plus year’s of experience with information systems in a sophisticated multi-platform healthcare environment.
SQL programming, Tableau dashboard development and administration experience with emphasis on visualization, efficiency, and automation required.
Three (3) plus years of Management/Supervisor experience in a Healthcare IT team.
Two (2) plus years of Epic report development experience.
Physician Billing, Epic Tapestry, AP Claims, and Population Health experience highly desired.
Educational/Certificate Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
Epic Certification (Clarity, Reporting, and/or RWB), preferred.

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other recognition programs for our employees. The base pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
