Tell Me More:

The Lead Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for leading the work-flow and daily operations of the team in addition to handling a full range of project components in an independent and autonomous manner. Provides expertise in the tracking, assessment, and monitoring of data/trends. Provides detailed, sophisticated analytical support to the business and makes recommendations. You will:

  • Establish, delegate, and monitor the workflow for a team of analysts/revenue auditors.
  • Provide ongoing training, guidance, and work direction to other analysts/revenue auditors.
  • Research and resolve complex inquiries. Troubleshoots and implements resolutions.
  • Develop complex documents, recommend improvements to existing procedures, and provides both high-level and detailed reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments and management.
  • Work on improving the efficiency of patient net revenue realization and minimizing revenue loss in the Heart Institute.
  • EHR management with charging mechanisms and triggers, and denials management. 
  • Coding inquiries and documentation supervision.
  • Audit trends analysis & report.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an analyst (data, financial, business, or related) required.
  • Experience with professional billing, hospital billing or coding preferred.
