Apply Now ShareProvidence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a Neonatologist to provide expert care and consulting services in neonatal medicine!
In this per diem position at a level III community NICU, we are seeking a board-certified neonatologist, preferably with at least 2 years NICU experience after fellowship training, though recent fellowship graduates are welcome to apply.
Clinical responsibilities include coverage of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing comprehensive care.
Fosters an environment that supports performance improvement activities within the patient care settings and provides appropriate reports as requested.
Maintains and enhances the support of quality patient care by identifying and implementing strategies working collaboratively with the entire care team.
Will provide education to physicians, nurses, and other ancillary medical personnel.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification (or eligibility) in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.
- Unrestricted California license as Physician.
- Ability to meet eligibility and credentialing requirements of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Medical Staff Membership and of Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation.
- Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.
- Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
- Evidence of exceptional clinical, and professional accomplishment.
- Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information.
