Job Description
The Support Services Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations of Support Services Staff providing maintenance engineering and purchasing services to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Assists in the development, review, and revision of standard operating policies and procedures in collaboration with senior management.
- Directly supervises support personnel, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, training new employees, planning, assigning direct work, determining work hours, appraising staff and assist in staff development.
- Maintains the Facility Work Order Database seeing that service requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Inspects completed projects to ensure quality of work performed.
- Develops and maintains physical plant inventory at all CSMCF facilities implementing regular preventative maintenance and/or replacement programs.
- Assists the Director with space planning, tenant improvement work, acquisition, and installation of office furniture systems and relocation of entire group operations.
- Acts as CSMCF liaison with Building Manager’s and/or Owner’s Representatives.
- Conducts facility inspections and coordinates work with contractors providing services to the group.
- Coordinates and prioritizes efforts of the facility engineering team.
- Conducts PeopleSoft Training to Medical Network Staff.
- Negotiates pricing with Vendors providing goods and services to the Network.
- Maintains and/or oversees the maintenance of the PeopleSoft Database Catalog of Medical Supplies and Database for MNS Supply Order Catalog for stationery and office supplies.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma/GED required.
Experience:
Five (5) years of related experience in commercial property and/or medical office management preferred. Supervisory or managerial level preferred.
