Job Description
Are you ready to bring your clinical skills to a world-class facility recognized as top ten in the United States for transplant services? Do you have a passion for the highest quality and patient satisfaction? Then please respond to this dynamic opportunity available with one of the best places to work in Southern California! A Cellular Therapy Transplant Coordinator manages the care process for patients undergoing cell-based therapies, such as CAR T-cell therapy or stem cell transplants. Key responsibilities include patient and family education on treatment processes, coordinating treatment logistics, liaising between the patient and the multidisciplinary medical team, and monitoring patient progress through the pre- and post-treatment phases. The role requires strong organizational skills, medical knowledge, and compassion to navigate the complexities of cellular therapy from patient referral to long-term follow-up care.
More than a thousand patients have undergone transplants at Cedars-Sinai since the Transplant Program was established in 1988, according to UNOS. Because we treat more of these patients than any other center in the United States, we can tailor our approach to each individual's needs.
