We are recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Trauma and Emergency General Surgery Service in the Department of Surgery. The APP provides direct patient care services under the supervision of the supervisory physician to patients on the inpatient service, consults and outpatient clinic. The APP performs physical exams, collects, and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders, professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, coordinates the care and discharge of patients on the service.

Qualifications
Education:
- Graduated of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required (AGACNP-BC, ACNP-BC, or ACNPC-AG).
- Master of Nursing Degree.
License/Certification:
- Current, unrestricted CA RN License.
- Current, unrestricted California NP license.
- DEA License.
- National NP certification
- ACLS, BLS - Life Support certification (AHA or ARC)
- ATLS strongly desired.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in Trauma, General Surgery, or Emergency General Surgery.
