Join Cedars-Sinai Hospital as the Associate Director of Hematology and Cellular Therapy (HCT) Clinical & Academic Operations, a vital leadership role at the forefront of innovative cancer treatment. In this pivotal position, you will lead the charge in improving our bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy program, providing patients with ground breaking, personalized treatments aimed at destroying cancer cells and boosting their immune response. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting the future of oncology care within Cedar Sinai Cancer Center!

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a key leader in the HCT Division, you will encourage and lead a dedicated team passionate about advancing cellular therapy strategies. These strategies include hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation and CAR T-cell therapy.   You will ensure our patients receive the best care.  
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to the highest standards of compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, FACT inspections, and guarantee that our operations remain outstanding in quality and safety.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop, implement, and streamline operational processes within the outpatient unit to improve efficiency and ensure seamless patient experiences throughout their treatment journey.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to deliver comprehensive care and education to patients, empowering them through their treatment decisions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Supervise and analyze clinical trial data, providing actionable insights that drive program performance and improve patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship and training to the clinical operations team, encouraging professional growth and ensuring that protocols in cellular therapy are consistently applied.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Engage with key collaborators, including researchers and healthcare providers, to facilitate innovative research initiatives that expand patient access to ground-breaking cellular therapies.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

  •  BSN required, MSN preferred

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical operations experience within a healthcare or research setting, including at least 4 years in a leadership role passionate about clinical trials in cellular therapy or oncology.
  • Three (3) years in a Supervisory role being responsible for departments in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of cellular therapies, including stem cell transplantation, CAR T-cell therapy, regulatory requirements, and standards in patient safety.
  • Skills:
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in clinical trial management systems and sophisticated data analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.

We offer a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base pay range shown generally applies to the greater Los Angeles area and may vary based on work location. Our range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills: relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
