Visiting Scholar Program
The Cedars‑Sinai Visiting Scholar Program offers researchers, graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty from other institutions the opportunity to collaborate on innovative research in a world‑class academic medical environment. Visiting scholars contribute specialized expertise, gain hands-on research experience, and collaborate with Cedars‑Sinai faculty while remaining affiliated with and funded by their home institutions.Key Information for Visiting Scholars:
- Open to graduate students, postdoctoral scientists, project scientists, and faculty scientists from external institutions
- Appointments support research training, collaboration, and scholarly contribution
- All visiting scholars must have a designated Cedars‑Sinai faculty mentor and department supervisor
- Roles are term-limited (minimum of 3 months), with maximum durations based on scholar type
- Visiting scholars are not employees of Cedars‑Sinai and must have external funding and liability coverage
- Activities are research-focused; visiting scholars may not supervise staff, access patient records, or represent Cedars‑Sinai
- Programs are available to both domestic and international scholars, with visa support as applicable

Pharmacy Residency Program at Cedars‑Sinai
Cedars‑Sinai’s ASHP‑accredited PGY‑1 Pharmacy Residency Program prepares PharmD graduates for advanced clinical practice in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary academic medical center. Residents gain hands‑on experience working alongside leading physicians and pharmacists while delivering patient‑centered care across a wide range of clinical settings.
Designed to build clinical confidence, leadership skills, and professional growth, the program equips residents with the experience needed to pursue PGY‑2 training or launch a successful clinical pharmacy career.
