The Thomas M. Priselac Administrative Fellowship Program is a 24-month experience offering immersive rotations, executive mentorship, and growth opportunities designed to prepare you for impact-driven roles in healthcare administration.
Our Program
The Thomas M. Priselac Administrative Fellowship Program (TMP AFP) is a 24-month, non-clinical program that prepares recent master’s graduates to become forward-thinking leaders in healthcare administration. Fellows rotate through key functional areas across the organization, gaining exposure to diverse operational and strategic environments while benefitting from executive mentorship, coaching, and immersive project experiences. The program combines structured rotations with opportunities to pursue career interests that both advance organizational priorities and support individual growth, fostering leadership capability in operations, strategy, and system management.
Fellows have the opportunity to drive, co-lead, or support high-impact projects that advance the organization’s mission while developing their own professional and leadership journey at Cedars-Sinai.
Rotation opportunities may include:
- Hospital & Ambulatory Operations
- Finance & Revenue Cycle
- Strategy & Business Development
- Regulatory Affairs
- Specialty Track Rotations (e.g., areas aligned with specific interests or organizational priorities)
Eligibility & Requirements
Cedars-Sinai seeks emerging healthcare leaders who demonstrate academic excellence, professional maturity, and a commitment to advancing healthcare administration. Applicants for the 2026–2028 Administrative Fellowship Program must meet the following criteria:
Educational Requirements
- Candidates must have earned, or expect to earn, a graduate degree—MHA, MHS, MHSA, MPA, MPH, MPP, or MBA with a healthcare emphasis—from an accredited program between May 1, 2024, and June 30, 2026.
- Degrees conferred prior to May 1, 2024, are not eligible for consideration.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience in healthcare administration or a related business environment is required; 2 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
- Prior experience may include a combination of full-time employment, administrative internships, or graduate assistantships that demonstrate applied leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
Employment Authorization
- Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of the fellowship.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
Pre-Employment Requirements
All selected candidates must successfully complete Cedars-Sinai’s pre-employment process, which includes:
- Background check
- Drug screening for prohibited substances
- Employee health screening
- Education Verification
The Cedars-Sinai TMP Administrative Fellowship Program is a full-time, 24-month paid program based in Los Angeles, California. Fellows are expected to relocate if not already residing in the area.
