We are seeking a motivated Visiting Faculty Scientist to join our team. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about advancing social research and who are currently funded by a sponsoring institution. The Visiting Scientist will collaborate with our team on ongoing projects, contribute to research initiatives, and participate in professional development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct social research in collaboration with our research team, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Participate in research planning, methodology design, and evaluation processes.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and scholarly articles based on research findings.
  • Engage with colleagues in academic discussions, seminars, and project updates.
  • Support the research team in meeting project goals and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the overall intellectual environment by sharing expertise and engaging with team members.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must reside in the Greater Los Angeles area or surrounding cities during the appointment.
  • For Interns: If participating for academic credit, the intern must receive credit for the internship duration.
  • For Visitors: Must receive funding from an eligible sponsoring institution, such as an employer, educational institution, or grant provider.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Social Research or a related field is highly preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with research methodologies in social research.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
