What you will be doing:
The Senior Project Advisor (Per Diem) is responsible for developing, organizing and facilitating large cross-functional projects to support Cedars-Sinai's strategic direction. They will independently plan and effectively manage all aspects of projects or sub-projects of the larger program, including but not limited to; leading, project planning, tracking, reporting and managing any necessary vendor relationships as appropriate while maintaining program endeavors that support the strategic goals of the program and the broader organization. The Senior Consultant will support leadership in day-to-day program operations and administrative activities. The Senior Consultant will serve and protect the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state and local requirements and accrediting bodies.
- Develops and manages the overall project portfolio from start to end. Develops approach, objectives, and key deliverables. Identifies and tracks key measures of success. Develops comprehensive plan incorporating deliverables, resource needs, landmarks, accountabilities, communication plan, and time lines. Provides regular status updates to ensure deliverables are on track and all standards are followed.
- Contributes to the planning, design, development and implementation of project-specific and program objectives, procedures, processes and standards.
- Serves as primary resource for data reporting, data analysis, and data interpretation to key partners and senior leadership with summarized trends and progress to goals on standard cadence. Researches and analyzes data from internal and external sources.
- Drives complex project management through effective management of budget, schedule, scope, quality, issue and risk. Accountable for project communications, landmark tracking, resource planning, financials, risk assessment, contingency planning, escalation, and resolution of critical issues to project sponsor/owners.
- Works effectively with business partners, vendors and staff to develop programs and ensure projects are successful. This includes developing and ensuring consensus on program or project objectives/deliverables through proactive communication and dynamic partnerships. Works to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration. Effectively manages client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.
- Aligns and leads cross-organizational resources. Plans, develops, coordinates, and organizes resources to meet program and project objectives. May lead cross-functional teams in the administration, ongoing maintenance or expansion of programs or projects.
- Collaborates with other departments and leaders across the organization and other partners in the administration of the program. Identifies and defines any logistics, action items, or information needed to maintain operations.
- Identifies growth opportunities and further efficiencies that impact the program and/or departments success and aids in development of strategic plans to achieve objectives.
- Collaborates with internal/external partners to maintain and further develop program growth, community outreach activities, as well as relationship building and maintenance.
- Prepares and manages program fiscal budgets and financials in conjunction with leadership.
- Creates and fosters collaborative and positive relationships with internal and external partners, customers, agencies/organizations.
- Develops and implements any applicable education, training, on-boarding and/or mentorship pertaining to the program.
- Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws; accreditation, professional and regulatory agency standards and licensure requirements. Maintains staff and program compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare leadership/management, business or another related field required. Master's degree in healthcare leadership/management, business or another related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years prior consulting, strategy, and/or business development experience in a healthcare organization or consulting organization providing services to the healthcare industry, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of prior management or related experience including leadership coaching and mentoring experience.
